8,900 jobs for a city with a population of 65,000 is mental. Both WA and SA state governments are boasting about what the benefits of what the 4,400 AUSKUS jobs will do for each city, and their cities populations are 2.1M and 1.4M people.

The Stanwell project in only one of many underway in Gladstone. Fortesue already have a Hydrogen facility in operation that will see massive expansion as well as Rio Tinto building the largest solar farm in the southern Hemisphere.
